My journey as a chocolatemaker finds inspiration in nearly every part of the world around me, so much so that it has become a yearly tradition of mine to compose a sentiment dedicated to the people and places that illuminate my heart and soul.
As some of you know, I celebrate with a card sent out on the anniversary of Bar au Chocolat, which happens to fall in February.
The sentiment comprises two parts: a poem, on which I collaborate with a poet-friend, and a watercolor, drawn in cacao, by my artist-mother (see this year's watercolor below).
February 2025 is the 15th year I have created these Valentines; this year’s offering expanded to become THE PARIS COLLECTION, an homage to my long-adored ‘City of Light’ (La Ville-Lumière).
Chocolatelover, thank you for landing here with me. I hope that all you encounter across these pages leads you to embrace life to its fullest, most delicious extent.
